Gross!
No one's been signed and no one's been traded. So let's talk about the upcoming 3rd jersey that the Kings are set to introduce. The popular site Ice Ethics gave us a rare look at descriptions and mock-ups of each team's new threads. For a look at every team's jersey (mocked up), click here. Another mock-up appeared courtesy of the folks at Hockey's Future. If the jersey looks like this, no one will buy one. As KingsCast has said before, LA should set the standard for marketing, design and creativity. This is just shit... (we'll see in November what they really look like).
Kings to Audition Ice Girls
The fans have spoken and this year, the Los Angeles Kings will debut the Kings "Ice Crew" (or Ice Girls for those of us who are not fans of political correctness). There was a little debate last season as to why we would need such a spectacle but, the Kings listened to the 98% majority, and did the right thing. So fasten your skates, garters and Victoria's Secret Angel collection bra and go to Staples Center on Monday, September 8, 2008 at 6PM for an audition. Good luck, ladies!
KingsCast Take: No Ice Gentlemen, ladies. Sorry! As offended as the small amount of female listeners might be, we fully endorse this. It will bring fans to games and entertain us when we lose which will be often.
